The damage to Fowler is trivial when compared with the damage done to people's homes and lives all around Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll County. But for WGFC, Fowler is symbolic to all of us of just how devastating this flood was and how much damage it caused.

Many of the goals were recovered. We still have at least 3 U-11 size goals on the other side of the creek that will take more work to recover. Wire clippers will be needed in order to remove the zip ties and multiple people will be needed in order to get them out from under debris.

Denise Tucker reports that Fowler Fields clean up begins to day. The first step is to recover the equipment to parking lot and get it cleaned up. Many goals have been washed down stream. Concession stand also hit hard. Please come out an wear your mudders. Folks are out there now 1:00 p.m.
